Main Rambling

As I ponder the recent events that have been happening here in the United States I wonder when we as a Christian people are going to wake up. We have seen despicable acts of terrorism at the Boston Marathon as well as a horrible accident in Texas at a fertilizer plant. Just yesterday tornadoes struck North Texas (5/15/13) killing, injuring people and destroying homes and businesses. I guess what bothers me the most is the attitude of the church. I have heard people cursing the bombers and praying that God would kill them. I hear and read of the church being surprised at the devastation from storms such as Hurricane Sandy. I even read that the name Sandy will no longer be used in naming hurricanes. As if not using the name could possibly stop another horrific event.

We read of wars and rumors of war in Mathew 24:6, Mark 13:7, Luke 21:9. They all tell us that we need not to fear that not only will these come to pass but also famine and pestilence. Kingdom will rise against kingdom, families against families and nation against nation. The Word says that “these things must come to pass but this is not the end’. Nothing is going to stop the judgment of God on this world. That is why we as followers of Jesus Christ need to get back into the Word, get back to praying (2 Chron 7:14). So that God can heal our land. We need to realize though that healing entails destroying this sinful world and creating the new Jerusalem. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “ if my people will seek my face and turn from their wicked ways…that’s the problem too many people believe that grace abounds no matter what. Without repentance there is no grace, Without grace there is no forgiveness,

Mathew 5:33 tells us to seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…. Gods righteousness! Not what we want righteousness to be but what God wants it to be…. with out SIN! We as a nation and as a church need to turn from our sin and turn to the cross. Grace is not an excuse to sin, but it is a full pardon of our sin when we repent (turn away) from it.

We as a nation and the body of Christ need to stop cursing people because of their sin. We need to stop calling on God for retribution and we need to pray for their salvation…Matthew 5:43-45 (KJV) 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Jesus said in John 15:13 (KJV) 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Jesus is not asking us to give up our physical life for our enemies but what He is asking us to do is to give up this worldly life for a heavenly life with Him forever… doing this we can fulfill John 15:13.

If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, let me take this opportunity to introduce you to Him. Just say this simple prayer: Dear Jesus, please come into my heart and forgive my sins. I know that you are the only way to salvation and eternal life. Thank you Jesus for forgiving my sins, I love you Lord and need your help to live the life you want me to. Amen.

If you said this prayer and accepted Jesus into your heart, welcome to the family. Let someone know what you have done. Share this wonderful experience with them. If you want to either email us at,or call us 603 668-6226 or come visit us at 336 Kelley Street, Manchester, NH.

Grace to you,

MT 25:40
